सस्यमिव मर्त्यः पच्यते

When Nachiketa was given to Yama by his father, and before going to Yamaloka, Nachiketa went into solitude and he uttered these words.

सस्यमिव मर्त्यः पच्यते सस्यमिवाजायते पुनः ॥ – Kathopanishad 1.1.6

Men gets old like ripe crop & again born similar to the new crop

मनुष्य खेत मे उत्पन्न अन्न के समान पककर झड जाता है तथा खेत मे अन्न के समान पुनः उत्पन्न हो जाता है
