कर्मणा बध्यते जन्तुर्विद्या च विमुच्यते ।
तस्मात्कर्म न कुर्वन्ति यतयः पारदर्शिनः ।। – Mahabharata chapter 241 verse 7
Hindi Meaning
जीव कर्म के कारण बंधता है और ज्ञान के कारण मुक्त होता है; इसलिए पारदर्शी (ज्ञानी) मुनिजन कर्म नहीं करते।
English Meaning
Jiva (man) is bound when he perform actions and with knowledge he is liberated, that is why the knower of self-knowledge never indulge in actions.
