ढुण्ढिः – ढुढ्यतेऽसौ भक्तैरिति । ढुण्ढ अन्वेषणे + इन् । ) गणेशः
ढुण्ढिः is another name of Lord Ganesha
When Lord Ganesha succeeded in finding faults in the rule of King Divodas (दिवोदास), because of this finding and searching he is called as “Dhundhiraj (ढुण्ढिराज )” or “Dhundhi (ढुण्ढिः)”
The temple of Dhundhiraj Vinayaka is located in Varanasi and situated at the main gate 1 of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

अन्वेषणे ढुढिरयं प्रथितोऽस्ति धातुः सर्व्वार्थढुण्ढिततया भव ढुण्ढिनामा – यह ‘ढुढि’ धातु ‘खोजने’ अर्थ में प्रसिद्ध है, इसलिये सर्वार्थ ढूँढ़ने से आपका ढुण्ढि नाम है !
