मिष्टान्नपानदाताथ सततं श्रद्धयान्वितः ।
देवपूजापरो नित्यं न प्रेतो जायते मृतः

The one who offer sweets and leaves to devata during worship, he will never become a ghost (प्रेत) after his death.
