Hindu Time Calculation
The calculation for Hindu time is mentioned in Mahabharata – Vana Parva – Markandeya Samasya Parva chapter 188 and Vishnu Purana part 1 chapter 3
Chatur Yugas
चत्वार्याहुः सहस्राणि वर्षाणां तत् कृतं युगम् ॥ २२ ॥
तस्य तावच्छती संध्या संध्यांशश्च तथाविधः ।
Four Thousand divine years make a Satya Yuga and similar hundred years is Sandhya and Sandhyansh ( which make up to 4000 +400 +400 = 4800 divine years for Satya Yuga)
त्रीणि वर्षसहस्राणि त्रेतायुगमिहोच्यते ॥ २३ ॥
तस्य तावच्छती संध्या संध्यांशश्च ततः परम् ।
Three Thousand divine years makes Treta Yuga and similar hundred years is Sandhya and Sandhyansh ( which make up to 3000 +300 +300 = 3600 divine years for Treta Yuga)
तथा वर्षसहस्रे द्वे द्वापरं परिमाणतः ॥ २४ ॥
तस्यापि द्विशती संध्या संध्यांशश्च तथाविधः ।
Two thousand divine years make a Dwapara Yuga and similar hundred years is Sandhya and Sandhyansh ( which make up to 2000 +200 +200 = 2400 divine years for Dwapara Yuga)
सहस्रमेकं वर्षाणां ततः कलियुगं स्मृतम् ॥ २५ ॥
तस्य वर्षशतं संधिः संध्यांशश्च ततः परम् ।
One thousand divine years make a Kali Yuga and similar hundred years is Sandhya and Sandhyansh ( which make up to 1000 +100+100 = 1200 divine years for Kali Yuga)
संधिसंध्यांशयोस्तुल्यं प्रमाणमुपधारय ॥ २६ ॥
Please consider Sandhya and Sandhyansh as same.
A single Chatur Yuga is made up of Satya, Treta , Dwapara & Kali Yugas combined. ( 12000 divine years = 4800 + 3600 + 2400 +1200 )
Brahma Day or Kalpa
1000 Chaturyuga are called one day of Brahma or Kalpa. All this creation remain within the Brahma day and when the Brahma’s day is ended it is start of Pralaya.
There are 14 Manus within one day of Brahma (Kalpa)

One Manvantara has 30,67,20000 human years , So we get 1 divine year = 360 human years
